Hello lovely ladies! It's the weekend! That means...its work time for me. Yay! Not! Lol

Todays color is ORANGE. I chose Sun Worshiper by China Glaze. The only problem is that my stupid phone camera couldn't pick up the color correctly so, please, do not purchase this color based on these photos because they are HORRIBLE and I apologize. Here they are:

The color looks yellowish but its actually very bright orange.

Well, its time to get ready for work, enjoy the long weekend!

Hello beauties! Today I am starting the 31 day mani challenge! There is the photo above. Most of the bloggers I follow are going it! Because were cool. I'm only kidding, but, of course, I jumped on the bandwagon! Lol.
Here is my mani for the day:

I honestly hate red. I was dreading the fact that I would have to actually look through my stash and find a red that I actually liked.... I came across this beauty who stole my heart in the first swipe across my nail. What is her name you say? Ohhh, this would be Ruby Deer by China Glaze. This is the first time I have wore her and I am in love! She's the perfect red. And went on perfect in one coat. I see myself wearing her more often. I think this challenge will be good for a lot of untrieds that I have! I'm actually getting excited thinking about all of the Awesomeness that is hiding in my untrieds!

Are you going to do this challenge? C'mon! It's going to be fun!

Spanish word of the day:

MIA

Hi ladies, I'm sorry I've been MIA but, I got sick last Wednesday and haven't been able to shake it. I can't keep anything down. And I haven't felt like doing anything, not even checking the mail. I'm going to the doctor tomorrow so hopefully, I'll be cured of whatever curse has been put on me. Lol Thank you for being patient.

NOTD: Lace Halloween nails

Good morning ladies! How is everyone doing today? I hope you all are excellent, myself on the other hand, I'm sick. I think I have the stomach flu or something. I can't keep anything down.
Keep me in your thought. Thank you.

Anyways, on to the nails. I've been seeing the lace nails a lot on the internet and of course, I wanted to try it! So, I went to Walmart and purchased some lace, they had white, black, purple and red. So, I got white, black and red. After I arrived home, I couldn't decide what color to use under the lace. I asked my boyfriends opinion. He suggested my green, glow in the dark zom-body to love by OPI. Zom-body to love is from the 2011 Halloween collection, it comes with a black shatter as well. The lace on top of zom-body to love would be the perfect Halloween mani! And, its super easy.

You will need:
*10 nail size lace pieces
*Scissors
*Any color of polish for a base under your lace
*Top coat, I used Seche Vite
*Pair of tweezers

No matter how much I tried, I couldn't get the polish to glow. But, a dear friend of mine could. Here's the link to her blog so you can see:

And here are my nails:

It is super easy to do and it only took 1 minute to apply!

Let me know if you try them.
Thank you for reading and have a grade weekend!

So, lastnight, I decided to try the double lightening bolt mani after I seen Rebecca at Rebeccalikesnails post a photo in a group that were in on Facebook together. So, here's my version:

Looks cool huh? It isn't very sunny so, I didn't catch the holo like I wanted.

This is what I used:

A gray kind of day

Hello beauties of mine!
Today is cleaning day at my house. Blahh, I know, exactly. So, I'm not very excited about sweeping and mopping and dusting and whatnot.... So, today, I decided to use a gray polish. I don't own many gray polishes because I don't think it looks right with my skin tone.
The gray I have chosen for today is China glaze pelican gray.
It is a light gray with a touch of gray shimmer, beautiful in the Sun. I was trying to decide what I was going to do to make it look better on my skin so, I found myself trying to decide between wet n wild Hannah Pinktana which is more purple than pink with lots of micro holo glitter, its so pretty and OPI I lily love you, is a hot pink jelly base with lots of flakie-ness to it. And I couldn't decide which one so, I chose both! Ha ha. Here they are:

Now, I'm off to clean!

DS dupe alert

Good Morning beauties! How is everyone doing today? I'm wonderful! Yesterday I went on a shopping spree at Ulta, here's a photo of all of the goodies I purchased.

Lots of goodies. :) Most of them are for my giveaway, which I have decided to do it at 50 followers! I was originally going to have it at 100 but, its taking so long. Hehe.

In my finds at Ulta, I came across one of their polishes named material girl. In the bottle, it is an exact dupe of OPI DS Extravagance. The DS Extravagance is 12.50 +tax while you can get Ulta Material Girl for HALF of that price at 6.00 +tax.

And I totally forgot to lable which nail was which color but, my Index is Material Girl Middle is DS Extravagance Ring is Material Girl Pinky is DS Extravagance

Can you tell the difference?

Aside from the Ulta brand being less smooth and and having bumpy holo glitter, they are dead on. What do you think?

NAOTH: bird feathers

Hello ladies. :)
I was going to post this on Monday, but I'm bored at work so, ill post it now. :)
I do not have everything that I used with me so, I'll try to post from memory. :)
I used:
*10 artificial feathers cut into nail shaped pieces (any color works, I purchased teal because it is my favorite color)
*Scissors
*Sally Hansen Xtreme wear in White on
*Seche Vite fast drying topcoat

I started by painting all of my nails with sally hansen white on. Then, I painted 1 nail with the topcoat and after that I applied the feather and sealed it all with 2 thick coats of Seche Vite.
I didn't use any glue, I used the topcoat as a adhesive.

With my peacock ring I purchased from DOTS for $5.

I also have feather earrings and I went and got feathers put in my hair. :)

Has the feather trend sucked you in yet? I just recently caught feather fever. :)
Have you tried this mani? I want to see yours. Post a link in Tue comment box to your feather mani. :)

Snake skin,my way

Hello beautiful ladies of the world. :) How is everyone doing today? I'm in a pretty good mood because, I found out that I'm going to the shooting range this weekend! Yay! I know....real country huh? Ha ha. This will be my first time shooting my gun since the mister purchased it for me. Which was in March I believe. Anywho..... I don't know if anyone has noticed but, I have acrylic fake nails. Well, I had acrylic fake nails, I took them off last night so I could use my new nail envy that I received from Jen Miller who is in the fb group face and friends with me.

See, they look gross. I has acrylic nails because my nails always peel, split and bend. I have very very weak nails. I have been taking Biotin (3tablets daily) for about a week and I hope these, along with nail envy strengthen them. My natural nails were as long as my acrylic nails and I had to cut them down. So, here are my naked nubbins. :(

On to nail art, I've been seeing the snake skin mani a lot lately and I received my bundlemonster image plates over the weekend and just had to try this mani for myself. :)
Here is my version; I used ;
China Glaze- Digital dawn (tronica)
China Glaze- Mega Bite (tronica)
OPI- You don't know Jacques (base coat)
Seche Vite Dry fast top coat
Image plate- Bm215

I tried to do kind of like mixture of color for the diamond shape.

You can kind of see the color difference but not a lot. It looks pretty cool in person and it was so easy to do! Have you tried this mani yet?

Snake - Culebra

Hi ladies! Good morning, after noon, night(depending on where you are). I am in kentucky its a very rainy day. Which has made me feel kind of blah.... So, what do I resort to? Frankening. So, I was bored listening to the rain..and decided to put this rainy day to use. And I give you," Against my window" (taken from the missy elliot song).

She's made up of 9 different polishes, 6 of those are straight glitter which of going to be a straight PITA to take off. Ha ha.

Ulta- Piñata-yada-yada
Nyc - Starry silver glitter
Sally Hansen Xtreme wear- Rockstar pink
Wet'n'Wild- Party of 5 glitters
Orly- Love each other
