Gradient/ombré fail

Hi everyone! As you can see from the blog title, this was a fail. And I'm only posting this because I received a lot of compliments on it and because I like the colors, a lot. And, just as a note, I will be posting both hands today but I only cleaned up one. I got lazy. Lol. So, on to it!

Funky Fingers-Tortuga
Sally Hansen- Blue me away.

My first gradient with glittah!

Hello beauties. I hope everyone had an awesome weekend. I have a very sparkly gradient mani for you all today. I started with Essie all in one base than I painted a thin coat of Hits-Unconventional then I sponged on Sally Hansen-Ruby Diamond then I sponged Opi-Mod about you, then I added a coat of Loreal-Silver Sparkle and Butter London- Tart with a heart then I topped it all off with a nice coat of Seche Vite.

What do you all think? Too sparkly? He he he.

Marimoon Skittles

Hello! Today I decided to do some swatches, which I hardly ever do but, I just couldn't bring myself to cover up such awesomeness! I'm very fortunate to have these because in the United States they are not sold. These babies came all the way from Brazil from my dear friend Mayra (thank you Mayra) She and I exchanged polishes. I sent her brands that are not available in Brazil and she sent me polished that are not available in the US. Here are four of those polished that she sent me.
I used :
2 coats of each over
Opi-Black onyx
Hits-Chameleon (Pointer)
Hits-Daring (Middle)
Hits-Dreamer (Ring)
Hits-Uncontroversial (Pinky)

Water Marble

Hello! I have a quick water marble for you all today! I've had so much trouble with this technique because the polish either runs together or it doesn't spread or it dried too quickly. But, I think in getting better at it. Here's my most recent try at it.

Block nails

Hey lovelies! How is everyone's Saturday night going? Here where I am it's raining. Boo!! Here's my nail art for ya! I call them block nails.
I used: Estée Lauder-Ultra Violet
Opi- Catch me in your net
China Glaze- How about a tumble
China Glaze- Midnight Kiss
Revlon - Not so blueberry
Color Club- Hot like lava

First attempt laser mani

Hello guys and girls!! I have a neon laser tape Mani for you all today but bare with me because this is my first attempt, I still gave a lot of learning to do. I used:
Essie - Funky Limelight
Funky Fingers- Tortuga
Sinful Colors - Pink
Sinful Colors - Summer Peach
Opi - Black Onyx
I started by doing a gradient, then layered the tape on top of that and then I painted over everything with Black Onyx, removed the tape and put on a thick coat of Posh. I think i messed up when I removed the tape too early. But, I'll do better next time! Hope you like it!! Have a great weekend!

Why holo spring!

It's spring here in the good ole state of Kentucky and the sun is out so I decided to take advantage and do some stamping with a holographic polish! I started with a base of Opi- Suzi says feng shui I only did 1 coat but after seeing my nails in the sun, I probably should have done 2 coats. Then I stamped on a pretty flower design using Color Club - Revvvolution and RA plate 109 then I coated it all with a nice thick coat of Posh!

Stamping with Chanel

Hello ladies! Today I have some stamping for you! I used Illamasqua, how do you pronounce that? When I say it in my head it goes "ill-ah-mask-wah" that's probably totally wrong but, that's how I read it. He he. Anyways. I did 2 coats of Illamasqua Vice and stamped over it with Chanel Peridot using bundle monster plate BM-221 with the little flower design. I love it! I just wish the flowers would show the duo-chromed look that Peridot offered.
I topped it with 2 coats of Posh and were off to work! Take care and thanks for stopping by!!

Spotted dotted and golden

Hi ladies! Long time no see! Today I have some leopard spots for you, I know, I love leopard but you're probably tired of it by now. Anyways, I did these spots with a dotting tool.
I used:
Finger paints- black expressionism
Sally Hansen- white on
SOPI- Only Gold for me topcoat.
