Party Animal

Good Morning! It's been a while, how is everyone?
Today my post was inspired by
Rebeccalikesnails. She did a Christmas theme animal print. Her animal of choice? Zebra. After I seen it, I thought hers was so cute and, I HAD to try it!

Here's how mine turned out:

What do you think?

Here is how I did it:
1. Painted my nails white.
*Sally hansen - White on*
2. Topped that with a nice layer of
*Poshe fast drying TC*
This step is important, I did this to keep the red and green from becoming lightened by the white.
3. Painted on all of my red zebra stripes. I used
*Sally hansen- Red carpet* .
4 Painted on the green stripes. I used *China Glaze- Mistletoe kisses* .
5 Topped it all off with another thick layer of Poshe.

Hola! Good afternoon ladies! Happy Saturday!

Today is day 3 of the monthly challenge and today, the color is yellow! One of my favorite colors!

I chose Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Mellow Yellow. It's a pastel yellow creme. It achieves opacity in 2 coats.
Here is my mani:

NAOTH: bird feathers

Hello ladies. :)
I was going to post this on Monday, but I'm bored at work so, ill post it now. :)
I do not have everything that I used with me so, I'll try to post from memory. :)
I used:
*10 artificial feathers cut into nail shaped pieces (any color works, I purchased teal because it is my favorite color)
*Scissors
*Sally Hansen Xtreme wear in White on
*Seche Vite fast drying topcoat

I started by painting all of my nails with sally hansen white on. Then, I painted 1 nail with the topcoat and after that I applied the feather and sealed it all with 2 thick coats of Seche Vite.
I didn't use any glue, I used the topcoat as a adhesive.

With my peacock ring I purchased from DOTS for $5.

I also have feather earrings and I went and got feathers put in my hair. :)

Has the feather trend sucked you in yet? I just recently caught feather fever. :)
Have you tried this mani? I want to see yours. Post a link in Tue comment box to your feather mani. :)

I love your franken mani! (Blueberry clouds) Pic heavy

Hello ladies!
Today I will be putting my spin on the ever popular Franken Friday, mine will be called, "I love your franken mani!"
I will be making a franken and doing a mani with it.
How exciting huh? I know! :)
This will be my longest post about frankening because it is my first post and I want to explain everything I did.
For those who don't know what Frankening is, its a mixture of pigments (even eyeshadow), glitters, and different polishes that you mix yourself. Like DIY with polish. It is very fun and very addictive!

My supplies today were:
*Nyc- skin tight denim creme (15 drops)
*Sally hansen Xtreme wear - Blue me away (1teaspoon)
*Love my nails Chrome - Silver bullet (1/4 teaspoon)
*Love my nails- Milky way (1/4 teaspoon)
*Daisy BBs (2)
* Empty polish bottle (I had to pour an old polish out)
* Jar to pour unwanted polish into,I use an old acetone bottle
(Never pour polish down the drain)
* Napkin, paper towel, old shirt. To protect the table you are working at and to protect your clothes.

Polishes that I used

This is what I use to pour out the polish I am not going to use.

While I was getting the rest of my supplies ready.

After adding a little bit of acetone to the bottle and shaking it up. Always remember to clean the brush and neck of the bottle. Mine was clean with only one time. You might have to clean a bottle more, or less depending in how light or lark the original polish was.

All of the polishes poured into the empty polish bottle.
This is where I add my BBs aka ballz. Then, I shake roll shake! And here is the end result.

Blueberry clouds.

Blueberry clouds swatched. I really like how it turned out.

Now, on to the mani.
Supplies:
*Born pretty plate m02
*Finger Paints- Black expressionism
*China Glaze- High def (Tronica)
*Nicole by OPI- Give me the last dance
* My franken- Blueberry clouds

I did a simple taped mani with a stamp going down the seam.
Be sure to press your tape against your skin to make it less sticky. Using the tape without using this method could rip off your polish.

Then, I removed the tape and stamped the flower design on it from image plate m02 using Nicole by OPI give me the last dance.

Night fall

Today I stepped totally out of my element and I decided to go with darker colors.... and, I did my first, semi-successful gradient! :) First, I painted my whole nail with
Finger Paints "Black Expressionism" , let it dry completely then used a cosmetic sponge to sponge on L.A. colors, color craze "bcc 558", I couldn't find a name but that is what the sticker on the bottom said... next, I used the same sponge to sponge on O.P.I Nicole in "Give me the 1st dance". I sealed it all with Sally Hansens "insta-dri anti-chip top coat".
Thanks for reading! :)

Have a great day!
